Description

 Family : Blechnaceae.

A dramatic fern with sturdy, glossy, spreading fronds. Unlike the type species, young fronds appear green. The fronds produce, at the apex, one or two buds. Place it in a deep soil, soft and moist, acidic or slightly alkaline, in medium shade. Evergreen. Width : 2m and +. Hardiness : -17°C (in open ground).
