                Family : Blechnaceae.
A dramatic fern with sturdy, glossy, spreading fronds, red when they are young and slowly turning to green. The fronds produce, at the apex, one or two buds. Place it in a deep soil, soft and moist, acidic or slightly alkaline, in medium shade. Evergreen. Width : 3m. Hardiness : -17°C (in open ground).
